Free Community Writing Workshop: Writing About Religion

Saturday, October 26, 4-6 p.m.

Use the tools of narrative craft to explore painful, complex, or surprising memories around religion and spirituality.

During this 2-hour workshop, you’ll:

  • Delve into personal memories and stories guided by writing prompts.

  • Study craft techniques to transform raw material into literary art.

  • Enjoy quiet writing time and optional sharing.

Notebooks and pens provided. 

Snacks and beverages provided.

Facilitated by fiction writer and essayist Kasey Payette, a fiscal year 2019 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
